General Overview:
The youth hockey program is a recreational and instructional
program geared to teach the fundamentals of ice hockey. All
practices are structured to meet the needs of each child. The
Ice Palace youth hockey league is a ISI sanctioned league
with five age divisions.

18 - 20 years - contact |
Players may be placed up or down divisions depending on skill
ability. The league plays year round with a Spring and Fall
season and a short Summer session. |

Who may participate?
Any players with basic forward skating skills may participate
in the league. Players entering the Pee Wee division or higher
must be able to skate backwards.
Equipment Requirements:
All players must wear full equipment including a HECC approved
full face shield. Players will be ruled off the ice until
all required equipment is worn.

League Fees:
The fee is based upon the number of games / practices for
each season. For the longer seasons we will break the cost
down by way of multiple payments, to make ice hockey affordable.
All skaters must be current members of ISI Hockey. The cost
is $22.00 per year. ISImemberships
run from September 1st, to August 31st.
Playing Rules:
The Hawaiian Youth Hockey League follows all ISI Hockey rules
along with some In-house rules. |

Coaches:
All coaches are volunteers with prior ice hockey experience.

Registration:
You may register at anytime in the season by visiting the
Ice Palace @ 4510 Salt Lake Boulevard during our Public
hours. When registering you must submit a copy of your
birth certificate and be sure
that your ISI membership is current.
